The short version
- You don't need an account, and we don't ask for your name, email or phone number.
- Your game progress (coins, unlocked planes and stadiums, best scores, settings) is saved only on your phone. We never receive it.
- We don't run any servers for the game, and we don't collect analytics or crash reports.
- The game shows ads from Google AdMob, which uses your device's advertising ID. You can limit or reset this in your phone's settings.
- The optional "Remove ads" purchase is handled entirely by Google Play. We never see your payment details.
1. Who we are
Air Flappy ("the game") is published by Diginet ZA ("we", "us"), South Africa. For anything to do with privacy, contact us at joel@diginetagency.com.
This policy explains what information is processed when you play the game on Android, why, and the choices you have. It is written to meet South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA), the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) where it applies, and Google Play's requirements.
2. Information we do not collect
There are no player accounts, no sign-up, no chat, no leaderboards, and no location tracking by the game. We do not ask for or receive your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos or precise location. The game has no server of its own: nothing about how you play is sent to us.
3. Information stored on your phone
Your progress is saved in the game's private storage on your device and is never sent to us. This includes your coins, the planes, liveries, trails, sounds and stadiums you have unlocked, your best scores, settings (such as sound on or off), your daily chest streak, any coin boost that is running, and whether you have bought "Remove ads". Uninstalling the game or clearing its storage deletes this data.
4. Advertising (Google AdMob)
The game is free and is supported by ads served by Google AdMob, a service of Google LLC. The game shows full-screen ads between flights and optional rewarded video ads that you choose to watch in return for a reward (for example doubling a flight's coins, a coin boost, a second chance, or trying an item once). To show and measure ads and to prevent fraud, the Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect and process:
- your device's advertising ID and other device identifiers;
- device and app information (for example model, operating system, language, app version);
- your IP address, which can be used to estimate a general location (for example your country);
- ad interactions (for example which ads were shown, watched or tapped), and diagnostic information.
This information is collected and processed by Google, not by us, under Google's Privacy Policy. You can read how Google uses information from apps that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Your choices
- Personalised ads: on Android go to Settings → Google → Ads (or Settings → Privacy → Ads) to reset or delete your advertising ID or opt out of personalised ads.
- EEA, UK and Switzerland: where Google's consent form applies to you, the game shows it the first time it runs, and you can change your choice later from the "Ad privacy settings" link on the game's home screen.
- Remove ads: a one-time purchase removes the full-screen ads. The optional "watch a video for a reward" ads remain available but are never required to play.
5. Purchases (Google Play)
The "Remove ads" in-app purchase is processed by Google Play. Google handles your payment details under its own terms and privacy policy; we never receive your card or bank information. The game only receives confirmation from Google Play that the purchase was made, so it can unlock the feature on your device.
6. Device permissions
The game asks for only what it needs:
- Internet access, to load ads and complete purchases. The game itself plays offline.
- Advertising ID, used by Google AdMob as described above.
- Vibration, for a short buzz when you crash or nail a flyover. Nothing is collected from it.
7. Summary of services that process data
| Service | What | Why | Who processes it |
|---|---|---|---|
| Google AdMob | Advertising ID, device info, IP address, ad interactions, diagnostics | Showing and measuring ads, fraud prevention | Google LLC |
| Google Play Billing | Purchase details | Processing the "Remove ads" purchase | Google LLC |

8. This website
This website is a simple set of pages. It has no accounts, no forms, no cookies of its own and no analytics or advertising trackers. Our web host may keep standard server logs (such as IP address and pages requested) for security and to keep the site running.
9. Children
The game is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the game, contact us and we will help you remove it.
10. Data retention and security
Because we hold no player data, there is nothing for us to retain. Data on your device stays until you uninstall the game or clear its storage. Information processed by Google is kept according to Google's own retention policies, and traffic between the game and Google's services is encrypted in transit.
11. Your rights
Under POPIA and, where applicable, GDPR, you have the right to ask what personal information is held about you, to have it corrected or deleted, and to object to processing. We do not hold personal information about you; advertising and purchase requests are best handled through Google or your device settings. You are always welcome to contact us at joel@diginetagency.com and we will help. In South Africa you may also lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator (inforegulator.org.za).
12. Changes to this policy
If the game starts using new services that process information (for example analytics or crash reporting), we will update this page before that version is released and change the effective date above.
